The first token exchange operating across various sectors via blockchain has been approved by the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
Token City is a Spanish fintech company focused on the tokenization of financial assets and the construction of market infrastructure based on blockchain technology. Its goal is to enable the representation, issuance, trading, and settlement of financial instruments (such as stocks, bonds, or shares) in tokenized format, with greater efficiency and transparency than traditional markets.
In 2025, the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) authorized the establishment of Token City Exchange as a Securities Agency, a regulatory milestone that allows the company to offer regulated investment services and expand its offering beyond technology provider, including brokerage, custody, and registration of tokenized assets.
